Content
Documents gathered in volume 23 present a wide range of aspects of Swiss foreign relations in the years 1964 to 1966. A great significance was attached to the agreement with Italy which would regulate labour migration. Alongside the intensification of its relations to neighbouring countries, Switzerland also extended its economic and technical cooperation with developing countries. Swiss foreign relations were influenced by international events such as the Vietnam War and processes like the European integration. Some other important aspects documented in this volume are Swiss economic and financial relations, the issue of divided states, Geneva as home to international organisations, and Switzerland's good offices.
